Priyanka Chopra attempted suicide several times Former manager

Her manager explained instances of how he stopped her from taking extreme steps and claims he saved her on several occasions.

In a series of tweets from Priyanka Chopra’s former manager Prakash Jaju, it has come to light that the Bollywood actress might have tried to commit suicide in the past.

Her manager explained instances of how he stopped her from taking extreme steps and claims he saved her on several occasions. “PC (Priyanka Chopra) may look very strong now but she was also very vulnerable in struggling days, tried to commit suicide 2-3 times but I managed to stop her,” Jaju said.

According to Jaju, Priyanka, who was very close to the mother of her alleged former boyfriend Aseem Merchant, tried to jump off the building after his mother’s death in 2002.

Detailing how Priyanka and Aseem fought often, he said that PC would cry and call him up at midnight. It got to a point, he says, where Priyanka was tied to a chair until grills were fitted on all the windows of the flat.

He then went on to blame the parents saying, they “should’ve not sent their daughter to Mumbai alone to try in film/TV industry”, adding, “When the girls live alone in Mumbai, drinks & drugs become a daily habit as there is nobody to stop or check.”

Comparing her to another Bollywood superstar, he cited, “Thank God Deepika Padukone has such a solid support in Ranveer Singh because she also looks very fragile n vulnerable.”

Priyanka Chopra’s twitter feed seems quiet, and she hasn’t chosen to comment as yet. In other news, the “Quantico” actress has voiced the character of ‘Kaa’, a snake who is one of Mowgli’s mentors and friends, in the Hindi version of the Disney film.
