Ranveer Singh’s wax statue unveiled at the Grevin Museum in Paris

We had been waiting for this moment since the inception of the idea. Ranveer Singh’s wax statue has been unveiled at the Grevin Wax Museum in Paris. And what better day for the unveiling than the actor’s birthday. As Ranveer turns 31 today, a wax statue of him was unveiled in the city of love, and we have to say that the man in wax is just as handsome as the the one in flesh. Ranveer is only the third actor to have his wax statue at the museum after Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Man, it must feel special.

We have to admit that Paris is quite in love with Ranveer Singh. Earlier, his movie Befikre was the first one to have a monumental trailer launch at the Eiffel Tower. Sure, Paris tourism increased a bit after the songs of the YRF venture became a hit all over. So, yeah, a wax statue is quite a sweet gesture. Ranveer’s statue is dressed in a tuxedo, and is looking dapper AF.

If you are not visiting Paris to see Ranveer, you can wait to watch him in his next film, Padmavati. The movie is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and stars Deepika Padukone in the titular role. The movie is based on the Indian folklore of Rani Padmini of Chittor, and will have Ranveer essay the role of Alauddin Khilji. We will get to see new shades of Ranveer in this spectacular retelling of the story. We hear that Ranveer is into the character while filming, and looks so menacing that unit members are scared of him.

Well, that’s the birthday boy for you!
