Ali Abbas Zafar recently completed the first schedule of Tiger Zinda Hai in Tirol with a romantic song (among its snow-capped mountains and small, quaint villages) picturised on Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and some action scenes.
The filming was scheduled for 16 days in Innsbruck and its Holiday Villages (Praxmar/Sellrain, Lüsens, Obsteig, Kühtai), in Kaunertal Valley and in Hall in Tirol.
A source tells us, “The film starts with Agent Tiger (Salman) and his wife Zoya (Katrina) among the snow of Tirol’s mountains so Austria, Tirol and its capital Innsbruck are said to be named in the film. Salman and Katrina had shot in Tirol a decade ago when they shot for Subhash Ghai’s Yuvvraaj (2007). While the second schedule will begin in Mumbai, the rest will be shot in Abu Dhabi and Morocco. In Austria, the TBZ team shot with 100 international crew members from Bollywood and Hollywood, apart from more than 70 Austrians. Hollywood’s award-winning action director Tom Struthers (X-Men: First Class, Inception, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight is choreographing stunt sequences. While over 80 Indian movies and TV productions have been shot in Tirol, Tiger Zinda Hai is the biggest Indian film to be shot there so far.”
